Carna4 hand-crafted dog food has been picked up by more than 175 stores in more than a dozen Canadian provinces and several states in the United States. Carna4 availability will soon be expanded in the Northeast and Pacific Northwest through newly added distributors including Aloha Natural Pet Supply (Vancouver, Wash.), Avafina Pet Products (Burnaby, British Columbia), LADS Pet Supplies (Angola, N.Y.), and Paws-itively Purr-fect Nutrition (Webster, Mass.).
Currently the line is distributed in the U.S. by Zeus & Company of Chicago, Ill., and Newco Distributors of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. Canadian distributors include Can-Pet Inc., in Toronto and Trueman Distribution in Alberta.
The dog food is made with real food ingredients, no vitamin/mineral pre-mixes or man-made additives, is basked with organic sprouted seeds, table-grade chicken, wild salmon and whole produce, and is grown in the United States and Canada.
It is comparable to raw food or a home-cooked diet and delivers 64 bioavailable nutrients, 11 live probiotics, along with antioxidants and digestive enzymes. The company also touts no lingering traces of salmonella or E. coli.
Each batch of Carna4 dog food is made in a family-run bakery in Oklahoma and then assessed by an independent research and lab testing firm, Mortec Scientific, Inc., for quality assurance.
