Pet Product News International - Retailer of the Year 2012-2013 Applications Being Accepted
Applications are being accepted for the Retailer of the Year 2012-2013 competition, as revealed by Pet Product News International.
The deadline to submit an application along with relevant information, news clips, photographs, and any commendations and/or awards is June 4, 2012. According to the recent announcement, “the more details you provide, the better your chance of being chosen Retailer of the Year.”
The sponsor of the contest is once again The World Pet Association, and they will fly the winner of the competition to Superzoo in Las Vegas in September 2012. Applications may be sent by email or uploaded via the FTP website. In addition, the completed application with supporting materials can be mailed to Pet Product News International.
Applications should include the retailer’s dedication to animals and their welfare, services offered, promotional and marketing events, line of products carried, any community and/or charity involvement, and employment practices, to name a few.
Specifically, being able to target and identify what makes the applicant’s pet store, salon or service most interesting and innovative should be outlined in the process.
The Retailer of the Year and Special Category winners will be profiled. Each winner is also added to the 2012-2013 Retailer Advisory Board for Pet Product News International. Winners will also be listed in the masthead and will be consulted for story ideas, industry insights, and product questions.
