DogTime Media Reaches More Than 50 Million Unique Visitors Monthly
The largest vertical media community dealing with pet lovers online, DogTime Media, announced they have grown their audience to 50,100,000 visitors per month. This statistic has been reported by comScore Media Metrix as of January 2012.
Headquartered in San Francisco, Dogtime is a collection of websites in the pet community. The DogTime and CatTime community encompasses over 1,090 pet focused publishers and bloggers, and more than 3,000 shelters and rescues.
Simon Tonner, president of DogTime Media, said “The heart of our growth is our ongoing investment in the creation of original and authoritative content. Our unique ability to share the power of this content with our publishing partners is driving value for both pet owners and advertisers."
DogTime Media reaches their 50.1 million visitors monthly with 525 pet-focused websites, 565 pet bloggers, and more than 3,000 rescue groups anchored by both DogTime.com and CatTime.com. DogTime Media also actively supports rescue groups and shelters nationwide with advice and donations to their Save a Dog and Save a Cat Facebook applications. In addition, their monthly grants and other programs help animals in need.
Launched in September of 2007, DogTime Media has a team of editors, designers, developers, marketers, and sales people focused on their website’s presence. The DogTime Media portal is approved by the ASPCA and appears on dozens of partner sites.
