Scout & Zoe's Receives Green Spirit Award from PET AGE Magazine
PET AGE magazine, one of the pet industry's most popular B2B magazine, recently announced its inaugural Green Spirit Awards honoring pet products that use earth-friendly materials and packaging along with other special product details.
Scout & Zoe’s Nibblet Chews received a Green Spirit award for their “positive impact on the environment,” according to PET AGE magazine. The award along with other winners will be announced in the April issue dubbed the “Green Spirit Issue.”
The Nibblets chews are designed for small animals to keep their teeth and beaks in check. They are allergy free, and a green, organic, renewable resource, like all of the Scout & Zoe’s products. In addition, the chews are crafted from 100 percent naturally shed United States elk antlers. The chews grind into a powder with nutritious minerals and are eco-friendly.
Cindy Dunston Quirk, owner and developer of Scout & Zoe’s, said the reason the company exists is due to her dedication to her dogs and their allergies. Since her dogs had extensive allergies, they were unable to enjoy bovine products such as bones, rawhide, or anything with a beef flavoring.
“We are honored and extremely grateful to be recognized for having a product that pet owners can feel good about buying,” Quirk said.
Scout & Zoe Natural Antler Chews are available in a variety of sizes for dogs and other animals. The antler chews are designed for dogs that are allergic to beef or chicken or have digestion problems. The antlers will not splinter as a bone might and are touted as helping dogs maintain clean, healthy teeth due to the chewing of it.
