Boxiecat, a brand that began the service of subscription cat litter delivery in the United States, has announced they will continue to ship their cat litter to customers using the United States Postal Service (USPS).
All subscribers to the Boxiecat online delivery service are given free delivery and the product is delivered directly to the customers’ doorsteps.
Despite changes recently announced by the USPS, Boxiecat representatives reported they can rely on the service, reliability, pricing, and more eco-friendly shipping methods of USPS versus other shipping services.
Boxiecat founder, Josh Wiesenfeld, noted of USPS Priority Mail, “This provides two important things for our subscribers, fast 2-3 day shipping and tracking numbers. All Boxiecat subscriptions include free home delivery, and Postal Service delivery lets us afford to offer that premium.” Citing reliable delivery to their subscribers, Boxiecat reports never having a lost or missing shipment to date.
Environmental considerations were explored when Boxiecat made their delivery partner decision recently. Wiesenfeld noted that with 86.4 million cats in the United States, and all the round trips to stores made by feline owners, the traditional way of obtaining cat litter is wasteful in terms of energy, carbon emissions, packaging and time. With USPS already stopping at homes across the nation six days a week, the carbon footprint of obtain cat litter is virtually eliminated, according to Boxiecat.
Boxiecat shopping is free including to Alaska, Hawaii, and other United States territories. Customers may take part in personalized shipment timing as well as hold on shipment for vacations. Payments are made per shipment and subscribers are able to cancel at any time.
