John Paul Pet Offers New Line to Benefit Homeless Pets

Many know the salon-grade hair care line Paul Mitchell. Its creator John Paul DeJoria also has a line for pets called John Paul Pet. John Paul Pet launched a new set of shampoo products, Awapoochi, and for every bottle sold in the month of July, John Paul Pet will donate $1 to Best Friends Animal Society.
The exclusive shampoo can only be purchased from the Best Friends’ online store or in its brick and mortar store in Ut. Awapoochi is a play-on-words on Awapuhi, a Hawaiian ginger plant. The shampoo is around $12 online.
Best Friends Animal Society funds the largest animal sanctuary in the U.S. It is the home to nearly 2,000 forgotten animals, many are adopted, but those who stay get the care they need for a lifetime. Best Friends also helps rescue and adoption centers across the country, in an effort to spay or neuter and provide care.
"Best Friends Animal Society is so appreciative of the generosity of John Paul Pet, which will help us fund our work with local rescue groups and shelters to reach our goal of No More Homeless Pets," said Gregory Castle, chief executive officer of Best Friends Animal Society.
John Paul Pet, based out of Las Vegas and launched in 2005, offers complete hygiene and grooming products including pet wipes for paws and faces, shampoos, conditioners, and sprays. "We are very excited about our relationship and partnership with Best Friends Animal Society. At John Paul Pet, we appreciate the kind work they do for the animals and support their philosophy and culture. We share the goal of making animals better off in the world. Peace, love and happiness," says DeJoria.
